Kia ora, I take immense pride in being a mother to three wonderful grown children and a cherished Nan to a moko residing in Whanganui. I consider myself fortunate to be surrounded by a supportive whānau and a community of businesses that uplift and encourage one another. My entrepreneurial journey began in 2020 when I couldn’t find a suitable greeting card for Koko or a greeting card that reflected my whānau.
Since then, we’ve been dedicated to addressing this gap not just for myself but for others who may have experienced the same challenge. Through hard work, we’ve expanded our whānau paikhi to help families celebrate their special moments with our unique creations. Our catalogue now boasts 50+ birthday, special occasion, and everyday cards, all thoughtfully designed by Māori artists, featuring te reo Māori, and showcasing the essence of our whānau.
In navigating the length and breadth of the motu, we rely on the invaluable support of our retail partners. Our aim is to foster positive relationships that allow both Awhi Mai Creations and our retail whānau to flourish.
