Our Story and Mission

Awhi Mai Creations was born from a simple but deeply personal moment, trying to find a greeting card for a loved one and realising there weren’t many beautiful, accessible options in te reo Māori. What started as a whakaaro quickly grew into a kaupapa driven by aroha, representation, and the desire to make te reo Māori feel more visible in everyday life. We wanted to create greeting cards that not only looked vibrant and premium, but also helped people confidently celebrate birthdays, milestones, new babies, gratitude, and special moments through the beauty of our language. Every card is designed and printed in Aotearoa with meaning, warmth, and connection at the heart of it.
